Tutorial: Tutorials are another innovative concept that Kalvin Central Academy has come up with. These are extra help lessons, both on the prescribed text and beyond it. There are two sets of tutorial in working days. The first one is a ten minute test which deals with testing the child on a small portion of a lesson taught. The idea ‘ to make sure students comprehend what is being taught. The second tutorial is more elaborate. It involves learning and experimenting on various things related to a subject. goes beyond the normal classroom teaching. Learning aids such as experiments, drama, discussions, debates, field trips, audio video aids are put in to use. It instills in the students an urge to learn new things and simultaneously helps them understand basic concepts.
